How To Get 80s Teased Hair

So how do you get 80s teased hair? You only need a can of extra duty hold hair spray, and a comb or brush. I used to just use a comb. Make sure your comb's teeth aren't too wide. Something like what your dad or pop used to carry in their back pocket. Now you will be able to have the 80s big hair of your dreams.

My hair is fairly straight and thick, so it was quite an effort to do the whole lot. However, by teasing your fringe, you had it going on anyway, and the rest of your hair could be put in a side pony tail or a braid with a scrunchie, or stick it in a banana clip.

If you want to put in the extra effort, and you have mousse, put a good sized handful through your hair to give it volume, and give your hair a good fluffing with the hair dryer. Also, feel free to create volume with a curling wand, too.

These extra steps help, but is not essential, so don't go out of your way to buy these products if you do not have them already.

Hold up a section of hair, and move the comb or brush downwards from the top, to scrunch the hair and give it volume. Repeat and spray with heaps of hair spray. (Hold your breath and close your eyes. Maybe even step out of the room you're working in to do this part) Repeat.

Simple really. Time to add a lace ribbon and 80s makeup!
