Above: 1986 I loved this 80s style sailor t shirt. Sailor t shirts will always be popular. I went out my way to buy Ruggers for shorts. Ruggers are a mens style of shorts.My little bro is wearing a popular 80s t shirt, with faux overalls printed onto the shirt. Other popular styles included faux bow ties and buttons. Below: 1985 I was 13 here, and was in a hurry one Saturday morning to buy a pair of swimmers, as we were leaving to go on holidays at the Whitsundays. After the holidays were finished, my step mum cut them up with a pair of scissors, as she said they were too high for a 13 year old girl to wear. I was devastated!!
Above: 1987 Use of the over sized shirt, and a sash as a belt. Note the cool new double cassette player that I got for Christmas? I had a new various tape which included Lionel Richie's, Dancin on the Ceiling, and Would I Lie to You, by the Eurythmics. Below: 1989 Wagging school. Permed hair was very popular for those who could afford it. And we wore pleated skirts which were a real pain in the butt to iron.

Awesome weekend without parents - gees I must have been trustworthy!! (Cheesy smile) Note the acid wash denim worn by the girl on the left, and her rolled up jeans at the ankles. I was wearing rolled up denim and the blue shirt.
